The Board Chairman of Ibom Power Company Limited, Engr. Etido Inyang has said three options are being considered to resolve challenges of Ibom power evacuation along the Aba – Itu 132kV transmission line.

Speaking during a tour of Ibom power facility at Ikot Abasi, the Chairman said although transmission is a Federal Government responsibility, the Board will liaise with the Federal Government based on the available options to ensure adequate power evacuation from Ibom power plant.

”We are going to look into the most economic viable options and then prioritize as to what to do first, second and third so that we can leverage on that, not only to make money but to provide Nigerians and communities in Akwa Ibom State with 24hrs/7days power supply in line with the vision of Governor Udom Emmanuel” the Chairman said.
